The problem

Machine hire runs on a simple question — what does this cost for a day — and the standard answer in the industry is “call for pricing”. That turns a two-minute decision into a phone call during business hours, and quietly loses everyone who was not going to make it.

What we did

Every machine has its day rate published on the page. No gate, no form, no “from” pricing. The rates are fields in a fleet dashboard the owner controls, so changing one updates the listing, the detail page and the checkout together — the site can never disagree with itself.

Booking is two clicks from there: pick the machine and the dates, pay through Stripe. The enquiry and the payment are the same action, so nothing waits in an inbox to be converted into a job.

The fleet is split by machine type rather than listed flat, because someone who needs a tipper truck is not browsing excavators.

How it’s structured
  • Machine hire
Split by type — excavators, tipper truck, 14-ton tipper, attachments
  • Machine detail
Published day rate, specs, and what is included, per machine
  • Booking + payment
Dates and Stripe checkout in the same flow as the enquiry
  • Gallery
Real job photos — the proof that matters in trade hire
  • Fleet dashboard
Rates, availability and enquiries, all owner-editable
06 — Free audit, no obligation
